the final copy was actually our third take. our first location shoot was done in parks and wildlife with the kids. we were shooting the first few scenes when it started drizzling. we were forced to pack up and head back to the house. our next attempt was in the house garage to get a "homely feel". however, our cameraman had a hard time isolating the noise coming from the vehicles passing. finally, we opted to shoot indoors at rodex studio - that explains the mac cpu that you see at my back.
it only took direk yayam and rd 2 weeks to edit. most of the songs we used were part of the soundtracks of our love story - sting's fragile and you belong to me from ally mcbeal. i couldn't find a copy of gary granada's iisa. instead, we settled for the equally romantic yet progressive ditty kapag sinabi ko sa'yo as an homage to my papa david.
